Every single dish was delicious! We had the pho, tonkatsu ramen, tofu lo mein, dumplings, and crab wontons. There was an unexpected spice in the lo mein that was so good, and the tofu and noodles were crispy and perfectly cooked. The wontons were fat and jam-packed with creamy filling.. The pho didn't have basil due to the season, but it didn't seem to be missing anything--it was incredibly flavorful regardless! It's a good thing I don't live in this town, because I would eat here all the time and spend all my money on this delicious food.
This is the very best restaurant on the Oregon coast if you're looking for delicious Asian food! It's our go-to when we visit! The Mongolian tofu is my favorite dish so far but everything on the menu is amazing! The owner is very sweet too!
We called in a take out order within 45 minutes of closing and Lisa accommodated us very nicely!! The Lo Mein and Fried Rice were delicious as was the Bulgogi and Mandarin Chicken. Highly recommend this place! Very authentic, hot and fresh, and great service!

Honestly everything here is amazing. You can't go wrong no matter what you order, but the cod with the red curry was the best I have ever had in my life. The beef bulgogi was also amazing. The owner is beyond friendly, and can't do enough for you. Honestly, one of the best places we've been and we travel a lot. Anything you have here will not disappoint!
We're from Bay Area and viet food but her pho was the best I've ever had , Jung bong , ramen, curry, kimchi , wow she can cook , it's a must place in Newport
I normally get the Jung Bong but I can't handle spice as much as I used to so I got the seafood udon and it was just as delicious! Love this place!
I had the Jung Bong, similar to Korean jjamppong, but with a different soup base. I didn't find the broth in this version as much to my taste as I'd hoped, but did enjoy the mix of seafood (1 large scallop, 3 large shrimp, 2 mussels, and some fish) and veggies. And, of course, the noodles were great -- seemed fresh, and wonderfully chewy. Service was excellent; prompt and very courteous. Wait time for the food after ordering was less than 15 minutes.
The food tastes home-cooked, they make REAL Asian food in a town full of clam chowders. Not like the Express. There are big shrimp in the seafood pancake, taste fresh and delicious. I really liked the Jung Bong spicy seafood broth, great flavor with lots of fresh seafood, variety of veggies, and delicious noodles, big portion too! Lisa is an interesting person with great personality, she is strong and funny! We enjoyed talking to her listening to her unique experiences. Btw, the kimchi tasted great, pure crunchy homemade kimchi! Reasonable price to get such Real delicious Asian food with huge portion. If you are tired of clam chowder and fried fish and chips, want to try some authentic Asian flavor, this is the place to go in Newport.
Finally they are open again and the quality of the food has not changed. Really enjoyed our seafood udon this time. The broth was super flavorful and there were lots of seafood throughout. Glad they I can add this restaurant again to our choices of where to eat in Newport.
